Hey friend, I have a great suggestion for you! If you're in Bagnoregio, you must visit C'era una volta... l'Hostaria. This cozy little restaurant near the ancient gate offers a tranquil and excellent dining experience with top-notch ingredients. The piciarelli with pistachio and crispy pancetta is a delight for your taste buds, and the stuffed rabbit is also excellent. Don't forget to try the warm bread with olives, it's deliciously crunchy. The service is fast, and the staff is attentive and courteous. The prices are fair, and the small seating area ensures a peaceful atmosphere. You'll love it!

Simone and Laura rated it 5 stars and described it as exceptional. They praised the quality of the ingredients and the impeccable service, especially the kind lady working in the dining room. Another reviewer loved the pasta dishes, particularly the gnocchi with zucchini flower cream and truffle, the open ravioli with Chianina sauce and vegetables, and the traditional pici with red ragu sauce. They also recommend the shrimp in avocado sauce for starters. The service is quick, but it's best to avoid peak hours for minimal waiting time. The ambiance may not be everyone's favorite, as it's described as modern and not very warm, with white walls, tablecloths, and chandeliers. However, the overall experience is fantastic, thanks to the friendly and down-to-earth waitress.

The intimate and charming atmosphere of the restaurant is enhanced by the kindness, professionalism, and delicacy of Renata, who warmly welcomes guests. The ravioli with cheese, mint, and lemon, as well as the cheese and pear bundles in radicchio sauce, are fabulous. Don't miss the pistachio semifreddo and the refreshing lemon and ginger ice cream. The prices are reasonable, and for three people, the bill came to around €90, including three pasta dishes, an appetizer, a main course (truffle steak), wine, and digestifs.
