Lola ya Bonobo Sanctuary. Cosa vedere e come visitare

Hey there! Have you ever heard of Lola ya Bonobo Sanctuary in Kinshasa? It's a one-of-a-kind paradise where orphaned bonobos are raised and protected. With spacious enclosures and a beautiful natural setting, this sanctuary is truly a marvel.

Prepare to walk for about an hour and a half, but trust me, it's totally worth it. Getting up close to these bonobos, who are so similar to us, is a fantastic experience. The knowledgeable guide who accompanied us made the visit even more enriching.

Here are some insider tips: the visiting hours are 10 am, 11:30 am, and 1:30 pm, which you won't find on the website. The sanctuary is open on weekends, and the first tour at 10:30 am on Sundays usually has a reasonable-sized group.

Don't miss the chance to see bonobos of all ages, from newborns to adults. You'll learn a lot about these incredible primates of the DRC. And if you're interested, there's a small shop where you can buy souvenirs.

Foreign visitors pay $10, while nationals pay $5 for entry. So, put on your sneakers and get ready for an unforgettable adventure at Lola ya Bonobo Sanctuary!
