Hey, have you heard about Pizzeria il Rusticone in Matera? It's a hidden gem that you must visit! We stumbled upon it by chance and were blown away by the excellent reviews. Despite arriving late at 11 PM, the native Matera waitress treated us wonderfully and showed a true love for the local ingredients and dishes. The pizza was absolutely delicious and well-seasoned. You have to try it!
The restaurant is located in the center of Matera and although it's small, you can choose to dine inside or outside. The quality of the products is outstanding, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are also lower compared to other places in the area. The only downside is that you can't enjoy their pizza for lunch, but it's definitely worth waiting for. I give it 4 stars because I couldn't taste the pizza during my visit, but I'm sure it deserves 5 stars.
One of the best pizzas I've ever had! Despite the small size of the place, the owner always finds a way to accommodate customers and find them a spot to eat. I will definitely go back!
This place comes highly recommended. We tried a couple of pizzas, and they were both delicious and made with high-quality ingredients. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming.
