Hey, have you heard about Il Ritrovo in Lampedusa? It's a famous restaurant that you must visit! I went there last night and had an amazing dinner. We started with some delicious appetizers like panelle, fish meatballs, and marinated anchovies. Then we tried two pasta dishes: black squid pasta and pistachio pesto pasta with shrimp. Both were incredibly tasty, although I would have preferred fresh pasta instead of the Barilla brand. The cannoli were a bit too hard, but the filling was good. Overall, it was a great dinner, although some reviews I read were a bit exaggerated.
This trattoria is located right on Via Roma, in the heart of Lampedusa. The menu offers a small selection of dishes, but they are all in line with the trattoria style. The black squid pasta and the parmigiana were exceptional. And the prices are quite reasonable compared to other places on the island.
I made a reservation for two the day before, and we had a fantastic meal. We enjoyed a couple of appetizers, especially the marinated anchovies. Then we each had a pasta dish, and we shared a second course. We left the restaurant feeling extremely satisfied, and the bill was only €35 per person, which is a great deal for a touristy place. The black squid pasta was a real treat, and the grilled fish, claimed to be caught that day, was incredibly fresh. Trust me, I know my fish as an amateur fisherman. The quality and price ratio at this vacation spot are unbeatable. Don't miss out!
Il Ritrovo is one of the best restaurants in Lampedusa, offering high-quality and incredibly fresh ingredients. They never use frozen products. We had an exceptional 1.3 kg sea bream, which was cooked to perfection upon request. The restaurant is family-run, and the chef, Angelina, cooks traditional dishes from the island as if she were cooking for her own family. You'll only find fresh catch of the day and the authentic flavors of Lampedusa's cuisine here. Make sure to make a reservation!
