Looking for a unique and awe-inspiring attraction in Superga? Look no further than the Basilica di Superga! This beautiful basilica, nestled in the greenery of Collina Park, offers panoramic views of Turin and the majestic Alps, including the iconic Monviso. Whether you're a history enthusiast or simply seeking a stunning vista, this is a must-visit destination.
Climb the spiral staircase to the dome for an even more breathtaking perspective. With 131 steps, it's not for the faint of heart, but the view from the top is absolutely worth it. Don't forget to explore the crypt, where the tombs of the Savoy Royals rest.
Accessible by public transportation, the Basilica di Superga is a bit outside of Turin, but the journey is well worth it. Please note that during our visit in November 2023, the funicular was closed for maintenance, but alternative transportation options were available.
