Located in a charming square, 57 Bonta is a central bakery that offers delicious pastries and a delightful atmosphere. The adjacent shops and the bakery itself provide high-quality sweet treats that are not only tasty but also beautifully presented. One of the highlights is the mouthwatering strudel, which is a must-try. However, it's worth noting that the bar is often closed, so you might have to wait outside on a bench to enjoy your coffee or pastry. Despite this inconvenience, the divine goodness of the pastries makes it worth the wait.
The opening hours can be a bit peculiar, with the bar closing in the afternoon and reopening later in the evening. It's a shame because the gelato and afternoon snacks are highly recommended. Nevertheless, the location is strategic, with outdoor seating that allows you to admire the charming houses in the square. The display window showcases various types of focaccia, delicious pastries, and mini pastries. The brioche is particularly noteworthy. It's a pity that we couldn't try more due to the limited opening hours. In a tourist destination like this, where customers want to indulge, it would be desirable to have all services available at all times.
Despite the occasional inconvenience, 57 Bonta is a small but lovely café. The owner is reserved and kind, and the pastries and coffee are excellent. The prices are reasonable, making it a great choice for a quick bite or a relaxing break. The fact that all the pastries are homemade by the owner adds a personal touch to the experience. I highly recommend visiting this café, and I would love to come back again.
