Honest Greens Hortaleza

Try the amazing variety of salads!

Looking for a healthy and delicious meal in Madrid? Look no further than Honest Greens Hortaleza! With a wide selection of salads enriched with seeds, fruits, spices, and proteins like piri piri chicken, marinated salmon, and meat, all made with organic, local ingredients, this place is a must-visit. The vibrant and dynamic atmosphere adds to the experience. Don't miss out!

Located between Chueca and Malasaña, this restaurant offers a beautiful setting. From the menu, you can choose the main course, a side sauce, and the vegetables. The dishes are generously portioned and served with great presentation. The drink options are excellent, especially if you go for the refill, with choices like ginger, red tea, lemon, and more. You can enjoy a satisfying dinner for around thirteen euros. The only thing missing is a bit more flavor.

If you prefer a greener meal, Honest Greens Hortaleza has a wide selection to satisfy everyone. The quality, service, and staff are excellent, and the prices are reasonable. The only downside might be the slightly expensive refillable water at 5 euros.

While the food is healthy, it can be a bit bland. The chosen protein already provides a good base for a complete meal, and you can add extras or appetizers to your plate. As a vegan, I found the tofu I tried (pictured) to be mediocre, but I'll give the falafel a try next time. The prices are neither low nor high, and the location is charming and always seems to be busy.

Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy this place despite the good reviews. The food was poor, and the restaurant and tables were dirty. There was also a lingering smell of food in the dining area.
