Looking for a lively and charming place to visit in Genoa? Look no further than Piazza Raffaele de Ferrari! This beautiful square is always bustling with activity, yet surprisingly peaceful. In just a 15-minute walk, you can reach the famous aquarium or explore the nearby shops. The square becomes even more stunning and captivating in the evening, making it a must-see at any time of day. It was a delightful surprise for me, as I had never been here before. Don't forget to check out the fantastic restaurants surrounding the square as well!

At the center of Piazza Raffaele de Ferrari, you'll find a magnificent fountain that has become a symbol of the city. Behind it, you'll discover historic buildings such as Palazzo Ducale, the former Stock Exchange, and the Regional Government Palace. Just across the street, the beautiful Teatro Carlo Felice awaits. This square is also connected to another important one, Piazza Matteotti, where you can access some exhibitions organized by Palazzo Ducale.

During Christmas time, it transforms into a wonderfully choreographed spectacle, attracting thousands of visitors who then disperse to explore the nearby Palazzo Ducale, the book fair, or simply indulge in some shopping along Via XX Settembre or the charming alleyways.
