This place is like stepping back in time, with its old-fashioned charm. The Sise delle Monache are always excellent, and they are made using the ancient and traditional recipe. You can even watch them being filled in the back room, just like they used to do in the old days. It's truly a marvelous experience!
However, I must mention that one customer had a less than pleasant experience when they found a worm in their bag of nougat. While the pastry shop is essential and antique, such incidents should not be tolerated. Hopefully, it was an isolated case.
