Parco Naturale Monte San Bartolo. Cosa vedere e come visitare

The Monte San Bartolo Natural Park is a nature reserve located along the central Adriatic coast of Italy, in the Marche region. It covers an area of approximately 1600 hectares and extends along the coast for about 15 kilometers between Pesaro and Gabicce Mare. The landscape of the park is characterized by a succession of hills, promontories, limestone cliffs, and small hidden beaches. The vegetation is rich and varied, with holm oak, oak, maritime pine forests, and Mediterranean scrub, which host a wide range of animal and plant species. The cliffs overlooking the sea offer breathtaking views of the Adriatic and are habitat for numerous seabirds, such as seagulls and peregrine falcons. Along the coast, there are also pebble beaches and stretches of sand, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the sea. Inside the park, there are several equipped areas for hiking, cycling, or horseback riding, allowing visitors to explore the natural beauty of the area. Additionally, there are several scenic trails that lead to lookout points from which to admire splendid views of the coast and the hinterland. The Monte San Bartolo Natural Park thus represents an oasis of unspoiled nature, where one can immerse oneself in the scenic beauty and enjoy a variety of outdoor activities in a protected and picturesque environment.
