Everything at Cambusa is excellent, with just one small flaw. We ordered the fried calamari and shrimp, but there were only 3 shrimp on the plate. When we asked about it, a lady explained that this is the usual proportion for this dish. However, they kindly brought us a small plate of fried shrimp as a gesture of goodwill. Despite this minor issue, everything was still very tasty, and we will definitely be returning.
We highly recommend Cambusa and give it 5 stars. The owners have the perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism with their customers. The only slight downside was that we found the prices a bit high, and the portions of pasta could be more generous. However, the fresh fish, the well-stocked bathroom with dedicated products for customers, and the overall positive experience make this place deserving of its reputation. We'll be back for sure!
Attracted by the many positive reviews, we can confirm that Cambusa is a place where kindness and good fish are always present. The dishes are delicious and prepared to order, each one more inviting than the last. The prices are average, and the service is friendly and attentive.
If you're a seafood lover, you'll be in heaven here. The appetizers and first courses are all excellent, but our favorite is the mugnaia in bianco, which is exceptional. The raw appetizers are incredibly fresh and tasty, as are the cold dishes. The hot dishes, especially the tripe of monkfish cooked to perfection in tomato sauce, are outstanding. We also loved the mussels sautéed with vinegar, a true maritime tradition. You won't be disappointed!
